Our Costume shop ships Australia wide.
We are able to offer in SYDNEY ONLY a Same Day Courier delivery service for most items - week days for orders placed before 2pm.
Delivery should be expected sameday- we can not guarantee a delivery time - once your order is with the courier it will be delivered ASAP that day. The courier company used makes ever effort to meet a 4hr delivery estimate, please understand that traffic and weather conditions can impact delivery.

All of our costumes are sent directly from our Australian warehouse.
All orders for in stock items received by 2pm EST (Sydney) time on weekdays are sent on the SAME DAY! We use Eparcel Express Post or overnight courier to get your order to you ASAP.
Express Post and courier parcels will be left in a safe location by the front door, please include instructions in the notes field if you do not want your parcel left at the door.
We charge a FLAT RATE of $10.95 per order!
If you need your costume urgently please include the date needed in the notes field, or contact our staff to check on delivery time.
We know you need your costume/accessories for a certain date and are committed to speedy delivery of all orders, our deliver partners do their best to ensure your order arrives in a timely manner.
With Australia Post Express Post Service or our courier service, most orders are delivered within 1-3 days after ordering. If you need the costume urgently, please give us a call so that we can work out the quickest delivery option available to you.

We ship to New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore etc. Air Mail delivery usually take 7-10 working days. Shipping costs vary depending on the weight of the items ordered. For orders under 500g $20, 1kg $30, 2kg $40. Please contact us for exact shipping charges.

How does receiving my order work?
We send your order with Australia Post Express service or by various couriers. This enables speedy and reliable delivery so you can get your order as soon as possible.
The parcel will be left at your specified address by the Australia Post or courier delivery service. You do not have to be at home to receive your parcel.
Can I pick up my order and save on postage?
You can pick up your order (from 1 day to 1 week after your order is placed) from our store. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - please contact us on 02 9487 3333 or 0430 088 768 to make an appointment. Please let us know when require your items.
When making your order, please choose the pick up option, and in the 'Notes' section (the page after you are asked for Shipping Address) enter the following text : "PICK UP ON __(date you will pick the order up)__",
Please Note - If you do not pick up your order within 30 days a 15% restocking fee will apply, as your order will be returned to our warehouse. After this period orders will only be available by shipping direct from the warehouse, normal delivery charges will need to be paid.
I have only received part of my order. Why?
Occasionally Costume Direct will send parts of your order separately.
Our yours costumes may be sent from different warehouses, to get them to you ASAP
Additional shipping time is noted in the Product Descriptions.
If your order needs to be shipped from different places you will not incur any additional postage expense as a result.
I want to add something to an order I just placed. Can it be shipped together?
Yes, provided we are contacted before 3pm EST on the day we are due to ship your order and have not yet packed it. We've outlined the procedure below and details of associated shipping costs.
If you would like to add something to your order, please contact us over the phone (02 9487 3333) immediately. We pride ourselves on our efficiency in processing your order. If you catch us before 3pm on the day we are due to ship your order and your order has not been packed yet we will be able to add items to your order. We will require payment for the additional items you wish to add and will send them with your original order with no additional postage cost.
If you create a new order online before we pack and post your original order for additional items and are getting them shipped to the same address, we will ship both orders together. Unfortunately we will not be able to refund you for the postage of the second order you placed. This is why we always recommend calling us if you would like to add something to your order.
If you contact us after 3pm on the day we are due to post your order or after we have packed your order, you will need to place a new order for the extra items you would like and pay for postage of your second order to you.
*Please note: If you have ordered something using a group-buying site voucher, you can only use 1 voucher per order. If you have placed two separate orders using group-buying vouchers within a short period to be sent to the same address we will ship them together. We are not able to refund you the cost of the postage of your second order.
It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at time of ordering.
If you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.
Every effort is made to deliver your order by the estimated delivery date. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee time of delivery.
We keep tracking numbers of every order sent. If you experience delays receiving your order please contact us.
What payment methods can I use?:
You can pay for your order using Visa Card, Master Card or by using PayPal. Our shopping cart is secured by Secure Pay. We also accept direct debit, cheque, or money orders - if you are paying by one of these methods please advise us in the 'Notes' section of your order, and be aware that we are unable to send the order until we recieve the cheque/money order or the direct debit amount, which may take a few days depending on your bank. You may want to contact us for additional details.
What details will I need to provide for payments?
When proceeding through the checkout, you will need to provide us with:
1. Name, e-mail, password
2. Billing and shipping address
3. Visa/Master/Paypal details. Alternatively you can send us a Cheque or Money order for payment or direct debit.
What taxes will I have to pay?
We have included GST (10%) in the price for each item, meaning there are no nasty surprises at the checkout!
